The seat slides effortlessly from side to side minimizing physical strain on the user and the caregiver as well. Safety features are a main focus on this transfer bench. Blow molded seat and back are textured for a non-slip surface, adjustable legs are equipped with suction cup, slip resistant tips and the strap locks and holds the seat in place during bathing and transfers. A hook and loop style seat belt helps to provide additional safety. A cut out is also standard and can be easily removed for perineal washing access. Seat height is adjustable from 19" to 23" in one inch increments , seat width is 19" and the depth of the seat is 15". This sliding heavy duty transfer bench has a weight capacity of 400 lbs yet is lightweight at only 14 1/2 lbs, so it is extremely portable.
