The accuracy/calibration on pressure is plus or minus 3 mm Hg or 2% of reading and on pulse it is plus or minus 5% of reading. The unit has an automatic inflation and an automatic pressure release valve. It is powered with 4 "AA" batteries (not included) and the battery life is approximately 300 two minute uses. This unit comes with a large cuff for arm circumference of 13" to 17". The HEM-712CLC operates on 4 "AA" batteries or AC power and the AC adapter is included.
